Important Notice for South Atlantic IPA Patients

Para Latino Medical Center has been contracted with South Atlantic Medical Group IPA since 2012. On December 9th, we received a 90‑day termination notice. The termination was issued without cause, and we have reason to believe South Atlantic IPA may be facing financial instability.

What This Means for You

  • Para Latino will no longer accept South Atlantic IPA starting February 10, 2026.

  • After this date, patients under South Atlantic IPA will only be seen on a cash‑pay basis.

  • To continue receiving care with Para Latino, you must transfer your coverage to another IPA as soon as possible.

Your Options

  • Blue Cross & L.A. Care patients → Transfer to Preferred IPA

  • HealthNet & Molina patients → Transfer to Regal IPA or Preferred IPA

  • Blue Cross & L.A. Care patients→ Transfer directly to L.A. Care Direct

Act Now

You have about 60 days to make the change. Please call your health plan immediately to request transfer to one of the IPAs listed above.
